Course Requirements

    1. project proposal
    2. project proposal revision
    3. paper
    4. paper revision
  4. reviewing
    1. all proposals (except your own one)
    2. all papers (except your own one)
    3. a scientific paper (published)
  5. Presence: all but two sessions
  6. no exams

Policies

  • Everything has to be turned in.
  • Assignments turned in up to 48 hours after deadline will count 50%.
  • Assignments turned in after this point will be worth zero credit (but still have to be turned in).

Grading

The grade will break down as follows:

  • Proposal 10%
  • Proposal reviews 10%
  • Proposal presentation 10%
  • Project 30%
  • Research paper 20%
  • Research paper reviews 10%
  • Research paper presentation 10%
There will be no exams in this course.

There is no penalty for absence (other than: you miss an opportunity to learn something).
