Research Scientist 

Researchers with experience in computer vision and multimedia are invited to apply for a position with the California Research Center of Ricoh Innovations, Inc. As a member of our team you will help imagine the future of multimedia in the office, identify interesting problems and propose innovative solutions that are technically novel and relevant to the real world. 

This exciting opportunity is open to outstanding researchers in computer science or electrical engineering. A strong background in one or several of the following areas is desirable: computer vision, image, audio, or video analysis, multimodal information retrieval, or document analysis. Experience working on collaborative projects in a research environment is preferred. A record of conference and journal publications is a plus. 

Qualifications: 

	O	Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field; 

	O	Good implementation skills in C++, Java, Perl, or equivalent experience; 

	O	Good communications skills and the willingness to work with a team.
