"Google is kicking off its 2004 college recruiting program, and once again, we are asking faculty to identify two or three of their top students (BS/MS/PhD) for internships and full-time positions at Google. We are looking for students with exceptional programming skills, excellent algorithmic and analytical skills, and a strong aptitude for building high-performance, scalable computer systems. Our recent work encompasses a broad spectrum of computer science research areas, including: - Large scale distributed systems design, - Information retrieval, - Natural language processing, - Machine learning and data mining, - Algorithms and data structures research, and - User interface research. Working at Google provides the opportunity to solve challenging problems and to make a positive impact in the lives of tens of millions of users every day. Google is fun, profitable, and growing as fast as we can find exceptionally qualified engineers and researchers. We have R&D offices at our headquarters in Mountain View, CA, New York, NY, Santa Monica, CA as well as new international offices in Bangalore, India and Zurich, Switzerland.
